Your knowledge and experiences can help strengthen the Country Database. Accepted materials include: adaptation initiatives; development programming documents; country Web pages; and other related documents, such as national reports or studies that include information at national or sub-national scales. Country adaptation profiles

The country adaptation profiles were initially designed to assist UNDP country offices and Regional Technical Advisors in developing adaptation proposals that are integrated into broader development programming. Today, the profiles are publicly available through the ALM to support all stakeholders and enable knowledge sharing at the country level.

 
The information contained in the profiles serves two purposes:

• Providing a country-level platform to share adaptation knowledge, and

• Illustrating the structured thinking necessary for planning adaptation.
